Promoting Green Behavioral Intentions of the Tourists for the Growth of Sustainable Tourism Development in the Sundarbans of Bangladesh

The Sundarbans, the single largest mangrove forest of world is one prime tourism destinations Bangladesh. Due to lack awareness and proper planning, causing severe threat ecosystem Sundarbans. It therefore utmost important ensure that natural environment Sundarbans doesn't deteriorate further. Promoting green may be a viable way achieve it. This study was designed identify ways promote (environment-friendly) behavior among stakeholders, especially tourists – traveling into A convenience sampling technique used in included both domestic foreign tourists. structured questionnaire developed incorporated 30 Likert-scale questions based on four variables, namely 'awareness program', 'incentive programs', 'interpretation' 'government interventions'. variables their corresponding items were light extant literature adopted socio-cultural atmosphere survey conducted from October 2019 February 2020 320 valid responses obtained.
